Not a real fake

I really hate it when people are asked to describe themselves or state a few facts, and they just say “I like to party.” Oh wow, really? How fascinating. Did you also enjoy being dropped on your head as an infant or… Like c’mon, how contrived is that answer? I think from now on my response to that will be “Oh, like birthday parties? Do you host a lot of birthday parties? You should be a caterer. Non-stop parties!”

Now that I think about it, that’d be a great catering business slogan. “We like to party.” No exclamation point, just very bluntly and without emotion, because parties are SRS BSNS. Then I imagine the mascot on the side of the catering van is a face that looks like Leslie Knope’s angry face. 

WE LIKE TO PARTY but we actually won’t party with you because we have a business to run and a party to cater. Contrary to popular belief, catering parties isn’t all fun and games.
